This last weekend I called a puppy-sitter, packed my overnight bag, and headed down to Dallas for a much-needed girls weekend with some of my favorite Air Force ladies! I had been looking forward to this for months and I was not let down! We had a great time! Between Sunday brunch at Hattie’s, boutique shopping in the Bishop Arts District, hopping around McKinney Street, laying out at the pool, and late night yoga on the roof, there wasn’t much else we would’ve added to make the weekend more perfect!
One of my new favorite boutiques is the reasonably priced, fashionably adorable shop, Strut. An Austin based company, this store, we wandered into, was in the Bishop Arts District of Dallas. I must admit I walked in expecting overly priced designer duds and a snooty girl sitting behind the counter, but what I got was just the opposite! The staff was super friendly and the clothes were, not only adorable, but also super affordable! (We’re talking only $30 for a top!) They were good sports and let me snap a few pictures for the blog so I could share the cuteness!
We all left very satisfied customers! The only disappointing fact about this store is that I don’t live close to one! If you want to go be awesome though here is their website! And here are a few more pictures from this past weekend!
With our boys done with training and packing up to move to separate parts of the country, this is a great time to have one last girls get together before we go our separate ways!
Have a wonderful Tuesday and I happen to know Annie will be posting next so stay tuned!
